Deep litter boxes

Cobefa designed a deep litter box with loose raised egde in smooth concrete. The litter box itself is finished consciously in a slightly coarse manner in order to achieve a good attachment of the straw mixture.

The raised edge that is rounded up, is on the other hand finished in an extra smooth way (self-compacting concrete) to avoid attachment of manure on the beam. This beam is attached to the box with special glue. The upper side is rounded up to both sides. This is to avoid injuries. For this system you can choose between rounded or straight end panels, each time with half a litter box integrated in the foot panel.
